1. Introduction

Welcome to BambooBlinds.lk. By visiting our website, placing an order or using any of our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services. BambooBlinds.lk reserves the right to update or change these terms at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to check this page regularly for any updates.


2. About Us

BambooBlinds.lk is a Sri Lanka based business that supplies and installs handcrafted bamboo blinds, ekle blinds and monsoon blinds for residential, commercial and outdoor spaces across Sri Lanka. All our products are custom made to order based on the measurements and specifications provided by the customer. Our contact number is 071 234 8957 and our website is www.bambooblind.lk.


3. Products and Orders

All blinds supplied by BambooBlinds.lk are custom made to the specific measurements provided by the customer at the time of ordering. Because every blind is made to order, we do not keep ready made stock. Once an order is confirmed and payment is made, production begins immediately. Customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements. BambooBlinds.lk will not be held responsible for any incorrect sizing that results from inaccurate measurements provided by the customer. If our team visits your location to take measurements, those measurements will be used as the basis for production and the customer will be asked to confirm them before work begins.


4. Pricing

All prices displayed on our website are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price confirmed at the time of your order will be the price you are charged. Delivery and installation charges may apply depending on your location and the size of the order. These will be communicated to you clearly before your order is confirmed. Our standard pricing starts from LKR 290 per square foot and varies depending on the type of blind, material, size and any additional features requested.


5. Payment Terms

BambooBlinds.lk requires a deposit payment before production begins on any custom order. The deposit amount will be confirmed at the time of ordering. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the installation or delivery of the goods. We accept payments via bank transfer, cash and other payment methods as agreed at the time of order. Receipts will be provided for all payments made. Failure to make the final payment upon completion may result in the goods being withheld until full payment is received.


6. Delivery and Installation

BambooBlinds.lk provides delivery and installation services across all districts in Sri Lanka. Delivery and installation timelines will be communicated to the customer at the time of ordering and are subject to change depending on production schedules, material availability and location. BambooBlinds.lk will make every effort to complete delivery and installation within the agreed timeframe but cannot be held responsible for delays caused by factors outside our control including but not limited to weather conditions, transport issues or supplier delays. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the installation site is accessible and ready on the agreed installation date. If the installation cannot be completed due to site conditions beyond our control, additional charges may apply for a return visit.


7. Returns and Refunds

Because all our products are custom made to order based on the specific measurements and requirements provided by the customer, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds once production has begun. If a product is found to be defective or does not match the confirmed specifications, BambooBlinds.lk will assess the issue and where appropriate will repair or replace the item at no additional cost to the customer. Any claims regarding defective products or incorrect specifications must be raised within 7 days of delivery or installation. Claims raised after this period may not be accepted. We do not offer refunds for change of mind after an order has been confirmed and production has started.


8. Warranty

BambooBlinds.lk stands behind the quality of our products and workmanship. All blinds supplied and installed by our team come with a workmanship warranty covering any defects in the installation for a period of 30 days from the date of installation. This warranty covers issues directly related to the installation work carried out by our team. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper handling, exposure to extreme weather conditions beyond normal use, or any modifications made to the blinds by the customer or a third party. Natural bamboo and ekle materials may show minor natural variations in colour and texture which are not considered defects and are not covered under warranty.


9. Intellectual Property

All content on the BambooBlinds.lk website including text, images, logos, photographs and design is the property of BambooBlinds.lk and is protected by applicable copyright laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or use any content from our website for commercial purposes without our prior written permission. You are welcome to share links to our website on social media and other platforms for non commercial purposes.


10. Privacy

BambooBlinds.lk collects basic personal information from customers including name, phone number, email address and location for the purpose of processing orders and providing our services. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except where required to process your order or as required by law. 11. Limitation of Liability

BambooBlinds.lk will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of our products or services beyond the value of the original order. Our maximum liability to any customer is limited to the amount paid by that customer for the specific product or service in question. We make every effort to ensure our products and services meet the highest standards but we cannot guarantee that our products will meet every individual expectation or requirement.


12. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from the use of our website or services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka. BambooBlinds.lk will always make every effort to resolve any disputes amicably and in good faith before any formal proceedings are initiated.
